Create a Position

  1. Ensure your account has the "Recruiting Volunteers" or the "Both" Interest. You may edit your profile at any time.
  2. Please select your Organization from the "My Organizations" dropdown.
  3. Navigate to the Positions Tab, and Click "Create New Volunteer Position"

Step 1: About Your Position

The creation of a new Position flows through three steps, the first of which is some basic information about your Position. Please fill in each item as accurately and completely as you are able; these fields will be public to all Applicants, so it's good to share a lot of information.

Remember to indicate how many Volunteers you're wanting to recruit in the "Number of Available Positions" field.

When you're finished, click "Save" at the bottom of the form to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Dates and Contact

Here is where you select the location, dates, times, schedule and time commitment for your Volunteers. But first, select a Position Type:

  1. Once: This Position is for one day only.
  2. Range of Days: This Position is for multiple days, or a span of time between two dates.
  3. Ongoing: This Position has no definite end date.

When you're finished, click "Save" at the bottom of the form to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Volunteer Requirements

Indicate any specific requirements of your Volunteers here.

When you're finished, click "Save" at the bottom of the form to proceed to the next step.
