Create an Organization

To add your Organization, you'll need a Personal Login before you can proceed to the Organization Creation page. Please register as yourself, and be sure to indicate that you're interested in recruiting Volunteers. If you choose not to use the Volunteering part of the Volunteer Connector and want to strictly use your login for managing your Organization, that's totally OK - but either way you need a a Personal Login!
Please note: You're only allowed to add one organization at a time. And each Organization you add goes through a short approval process.
  1. You must log in with, or create your Personal Login, to proceed.
  2. Ensure your account has the "Recruiting Volunteers" or the "Both" Interest. You may edit your profile at any time.
  3. Please select "My Organizations" from the top Menu.
  4. At the bottom of the dropdown, select "Add"

Step 1: Login or Register

To access your dashboard, you'll first need to Log in or Register with the Volunteer Connector - You will register and login as Yourself. You will have access to all the Volunteering Opportunities available as well as the abilities to add and edit your Organization details. Be sure you select that you're interested in Recruiting Volunteers when you sign up.

Once you're logged in, please hover over the My Organizations link in your Dashboard, and find the "+ Add" link.

Step 2: Add Your Organization

The creation of a new Organization flows through three steps, the first of which is some basic information about your Organization. Please fill in each item as accurately as you are able.

When you're finished, click "Save" at the bottom of the form to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Your Organization's Causes

Here is where you can select which Causes your organization supports.

When you're finished, click "Save" at the bottom of the form to proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Organization Preferences

Finally, select some of your basic preferences here.

This is the last step, so when you're finished, click "Save", and your Organization profile will be submitted for review. Please allow 24-48 hours.

Step 5: Complete!

Upon approval, your Organization will appear under the "My Organizations" tab, and you'll be able to manage it further from that screen.

Step 6: Add Other Members of your Organization

If more than one person is managing your Organization on the Volunteer Connector website, you can add them as additional Users. Please enter the email address they used when registering, and select the access-level they should have.
