About Urban/Rural Rides - Transport Urbain/Rural:

Urban/Rural Rides is a volunteer drive program that utilizes volunteer drivers to help seniors, low-income families and people with moderate disabilities (not wheel chair accessible) to get to medical appointments and access other life needs.

Our Mission:

a) To contribute to relief of poverty by providing an affordable transportation option to rural and urban residents of New Brunswick that are in financial need and/or are mobility challenged. (Jun 22) b) To relieve conditions associated with aging, such as loneliness and isolation, by providing transportation to the elderly for medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social and recreational programs: and c) To undertake activities that are ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above charitable purposes.

How You Can Support Us:

Members can assist by helping promote the service and/or volunteer as a driver to give rides to those who struggle to find safe affordable transportation. URR is newly expanding into the Fundy region and looking for more volunteer drivers to meet the needs in the region.
