About Community Volunteer Income Tax Program:

The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) is an arm's length collaboration between community organizations and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

Our Mission:

Our mission is to increase benefits and credits uptake by assisting vulnerable individuals in completing their tax returns in order to gain access to, and continue to receive, the government credits and benefits designed to support them.

How You Can Support Us:

Tax clinic volunteers complete tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals to ensure they receive, or continue to receive, their entitled benefit payments. Training and tax software is provided.
