About AX Arts and Culture Centre of Sussex:

AX is a charitable organization that offers multi-disciplinary arts and culture programming. Our mission is to promote and support arts and culture to enhance creativity and the quality of life in the greater Sussex region. We aim to: Connect art, artists, and the public Present dynamic exhibitions, art classes, and live music and literary performances Offer artists and the public fresh and innovative experiences from near and far Provide public outreach to underserved members of our community and advocate for the delivery of accessible arts education Our building is located in the heart of Sussex, New Brunswick and includes Knocks Cafe (a licensed restaurant), an outdoor patio, a professional, climate-controlled and secure gallery, a ceramics centre, artists’ studios for rent, and a newly renovated workshop space.

How You Can Support Us:

You can help AX through a variety of ways! While of course we appreciate donations we also highly value volunteers time. We host a wide range of programming and often times require volunteers to help things run smoothly. Everything from shuttles for KickAX and workshop assistants, to helping install floors and moving heavy Kilns.
