Festival Volunteer

The shifts are in one hour increments (working more then one hour is more than welcome!). NOTE: The festival will take place on the 16th of August, not the 15th. We are working to change the date advertised on this website.

There are none.

-Set-Up: Help artists and/or THIRD SHIFT staff prepare an installation. Help set up and distribute info signage and required tech equipment to each location on our map! -Tear Down: Help artists and/or THIRD SHIFT staff disassemble an installation. Collect signage and return any equipment to the Hub! -Site Attendant: Stationed at particular group of installations to make sure everything runs smoothly (bonus: learn about the artist and artwork to chat with the public!) -Roamer: Check up on the outdoor installations, let the organizers know if something needs to be tended to. -Hub Attendant: Merch sales, snacks and water runners for artists, on-call help. -On-call: You're up for anything and ready for us to call you to lend a helping hand! :-)

Volunteers will gain one-on-one learning experiences with professional artists, knowledge on contemporary artwork in Saint John and how installations are set up, and get to engage and network with the creative community around Saint John that can lead to future opportunities. Your participation includes a goodie bag that includes limited edition merchandise. You will have access to snacks and water during the event.
