We are looking for passionate people who will help us put our learners on the path to success. Whether it be to excel on a professional basis, reading to their grandchildren, getting their driver’s license, or passing their GED. Our organization can help all learners reach their goals, and we are pleased that you are interested in joining our community of tutors. You do not need to be a teacher, hold a degree or have previous experience. You will be given full training. If you are a good communicator and confident in your ability to empathize with adults with literacy difficulties then you can make a difference. Many volunteering opportunities provide extensive training. All tutors are required to complete the equivalent of 20 hours of online training.
