Bus Driver

Wednesday and Thursday evenings 5:45pm - 9:00pm Occasionally weeknight or weekend events

A Class 4 Drivers license / Clean drivers abstract / Criminal Background Check / Vulnerable Sector Check / Social Development Check / First Aid

Bus Drivers will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from the club for evening and occasional weekend events. Addressing any issues that may arise with the vehicle or passengers prior to departure. Drivers must complete a vehicle safety check before each departure. Drivers would also coordinate with Bus Captains to ensure all expected passengers are accounted for prior to departure. Each volunteer would be responsible for logging their hours within our volunteer system. All Bus Drivers will be assigned to a weekly schedule. Commitment to your scheduled time is crucial where if there is a need to fill a vacant spot, we must have no less than 48 hours notice to ensure we are able to schedule an alternative driver. Occasionally for weekend events, we do require drivers. Times may vary based on the need for drivers for these events. Must be passionate about working with children and supporting a great cause
