Environment & Green InitiativesOur nature club is currently seeking a treasurer to help us manage our funds and support our mission to study, conserve educate and enjoy nature in Saint John. 1 year term. Monthly virtual executive board meetings. Monthly oversight and reconciliation of books.
Required Qualifications
Experience in bookkeeping
Position Responsibilities
As our new treasurer, you will be responsible for working along side our Program Coordinator and Project Leaders to review our finances, budgets, and our financial transactions. Duties include:
- Ensure that the organization maintains the appropriate financial books and records and that these are accurate and up to date;
- Serve as a co-signer of cheques with at least one other signing officer;
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget of the Organization;
- Attend Board meetings monthly and serve as a member of the Executive Committee
