Current and clear security clearance with vulnerable sector screening

Position Responsibilities

Attend an orientation session for volunteers and any relevant ongoing training provided. You will be notified of new arrivals in order to confirm your availability. Corresponding duties will be assigned on an on-call basis. The Resettlement Team will introduce you to the new GAR family/individual. Duties may be split amongst multiple individuals/families and may include but are not limited to: Help provide meals during the temporary accommodation period Evening, Weekend, and/or Holiday visits to hotel (temporary accommodation) Help with move in/set-up in the new home (i.e.: curtains, putting furniture together, unpacking) Record number of volunteer hours and submit to the Volunteer Liaisons, Rehab Moukhtar r.moukhtar@saintjohny.ca or Brian Boudreau b.boudreau@saintjohny.ca on the first Monday of each new month.
